These are some tips about making a website that I either learned the hard way or found out about way later than I should have. Obviously you don't know what you don't know and so if you're struggling because you have ampersands and/or brackets in your file names, paragraphs, or titles, you're not gonna immediatly realize that you need look up how to encode your text. You're instead gonna struggle around online until you eventually find the answer.
This guide is here just to help you possibly avoid some of those potential future headaches. BUt it's also here bc I like to talk about stuff I just learned, even if its basic knowledge to experienced web designers :3
